Quiet the Noise
Curated psychotherapy designed for those who value depth and curiosity.
Meet Katharine
Psychotherapy is a deeply personal and vulnerable experience. My intention is to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood, particularly in moments when it may be difficult to extend that same understanding to yourself. I strive to cultivate an authentic and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship where we can explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and openness. Therapy is not a linear process, and meaningful change often unfolds gradually. Together, we can make space for the complexities of your inner world, deepen your understanding of yourself, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My approach to therapy is grounded in psychodynamic practice, with an emphasis on understanding how your past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns shape the way you experience yourself and the world today. Together, we may explore recurring dynamics in your relationships, feelings that are difficult to access or express, and parts of yourself that you may have learned to hide or protect. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be an important space for noticing and understanding these patterns as they unfold. My work is holistic, intersectional, and trauma-informed, grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. While our work often involves slowing down and making space for deeper reflection, I also draw on mindfulness, psychoeducation, skills-building, DBT, and narrative therapy when helpful, tailoring our approach to your needs and goals.
